Billing Overview

This document aims to clearly explain the billing rules and cost structure for Bare Metal. This product currently only supports the Subscription (Prepaid) billing model, meaning you need to pay the full cost for your selected configuration and duration in advance at the time of purchase.

Billing Model

Subscription is a prepaid model. Based on your business needs, you must pre-select the configuration (e.g., CPU, memory, storage, bandwidth, etc.) and duration for your Bare Metal , and make a one-time payment. You can continue to use the resource throughout the agreed service period.

Resource specs and pricing are locked for the duration of your purchase, providing you with consistent service.

Note: This product currently does not support postpaid models such as Pay-As-You-Go or Spot Instances.

Plan Cost Structure

The key feature of a Bare Metal plan is its "all-inclusive fixed price":

  • The price of the plan you select includes all costs for the specified duration, covering fixed computing resources (vCPU and memory), system disk, data disk(s), public IP, and the bandwidth you choose.

  • Total Plan Cost = Plan's All-inclusive Price × Quantity Purchased. You do not need to calculate the cost of each included resource separately.

Bandwidth/Data Transfer Billing

Bare Metal adopts a Fixed Bandwidth model:
You set a public network bandwidth cap (e.g., 5 Mbps) for the instance. Throughout the purchase period, the network speed will not exceed this cap, and there is no limit on total data transfer used.

  • Key Feature: Constant bandwidth with unlimited data transfer. Ideal for scenarios with continuous, stable, or high-volume traffic that require guaranteed network speed.
